Peripheral Nervous System Dynamics
How does the peripheral nervous system shape the tissues it innervates - and what happens when this goes wrong?
Our lab investigates the biology of peripheral nerves and glia in barrier tissues, with a focus on the oral mucosa. We want to understand how these cells are specified during development, how they maintain tissue homeostasis in the adult, and how their programmes are subverted in chronic inflammation and cancer.

We combine experimental and computational strategies, including mouse genetics, classical developmental biology approaches, complex in vitro systems and single-cell and spatial multiomics tools.
